Arteriovenous fistula
This procedure involves inserting a vascular catheter into the arm where the arteriovenous fistula is located, using contrast dye to check for stenosis, and then inflating the narrowed or blocked blood vessel with a small, folded balloon along the catheter to expand the blood vessel wall.
Pelvic congestion syndrome
This refers to a condition in which blood in the pelvis is unable to flow toward the heart and is clumped together in the pelvis. If varicose veins that appear in the legs are lower extremity varicose veins, varicose veins that appear in the pelvis are pelvic congestion syndrome.
Varicocele
This is a disease in which blood flows backwards due to abnormal valves in the testicular vein, causing the blood vessels around the testicle to expand. This treatment method involves inserting a tube into a vein in the arm or femur, moving it to the testicular vein without making an incision using a scalpel, and then closing the blood vessel using a sclerosing agent.
Embolization of uterine myoma
This is a treatment method that uses a 1mm diameter microtube to approach the uterine artery through the femoral artery after local anesthesia of the groin area, and then uses plastic particles smaller than sand to block the blood supply to the uterine fibroids, thereby causing them to regress.
